Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of a fast-growing company and help shape the future of the automobile aftermarket and beyond. We are looking for a Business Analyst who works closely with the Supplier and Logistic Operations, and the Customer Service Operation's Team to track down core issues that may arise in the IT systems, operations, and/or vendors' backend. This is not a data-reporting-only role: you will be expected to proactively learn how the business operates, understand the reasons behind the data, and connect analysis to real operational needs. You will assess data within its business context to recognize the problem and/or issue. The expectation is that you then develop and help drive practical solutions that improve business performance. Solutions may include new system requirements, bug fixes, and/or changes to operating procedures.
What you'll do:
- Proactively learn and develop a strong understanding of our business operations, workflows, and objectives; analyze performance metrics and customer behavior in that context to identify trends, root causes, and opportunities.
- Work closely with product manager, marketing, operations, and IT teams to gather requirements and deliver insights.
- Develop dashboards, reports, and tools to support decision-making across departments.
- Translate business-driven analysis into actionable strategies, and work with relevant teams to implement improvements in customer experience, logistics, marketing, and website performance.
- Support the development of new features and improvements to our backend systems.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular reporting to leadership.
- Improve business results by recommending process improvements, following through on implementation, and providing continuing measurements and analyses to evaluate impact.
Who we're looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Analyst or related field required. Master degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in E-commerce
- Strong Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI)
- Familiarity with Google analytics and e-commerce related experience such as Amazon/eBay is a plus
- Curious, detail-oriented, and proactive, with the willingness and ability to continuously learn the business and work effectively in a collaborative environment
